• Gypsy Dance

  Duration: 1 hour; $18; Get your body moving in an exciting, energetic new way! In this class focused on Gypsy dance, a professional instructor will help guide you through basic steps, character, and skirt work as you explore the dance moves of another culture. Learn to move your skirt as an extension your body, and practice footwork that will serve as your foundation for more advanced movements. And since this is a beginners' class, you'll get to have fun learning at the same basic level as all your classmates. With each step, you'll broaden your knowledge and appreciation of a different culture- and learn some great new steps that you can take to the dance floor! Cancellation Policy: No refunds available; all sales are final.

  • Explore the fundamentals of Gypsy dance as you work your body

  • Note: No experience necessary. A Russian Gypsy style skirt is required for this class

    This skirt must be long, made of two circles and with two ruffles. You can use cotton skirts of 25 (or more) yards.

• Bollywood Dance (Beginner)

  Duration: 1 hour; $18; Experience the fun and unique style of Bollywood dance in this beginners' class, where you'll focus on the fundamental movements that make up this dance style. A professional instructor will guide you as you practice Bollywood hand gestures, should movements, essential footwork, and basic combinations. Engage your whole body as you master each move and get an excellent workout, toning your body and working up a sweat. Let the rhythm of the Indian beats fuel your body as you introduce it to the dance style of another culture! Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds; all sales are final.

• Belly Dance

  Duration: 1 hour; $18; This class provides a foundation in Belly Dance, focusing on developing flexibility in addition to strengthening and isolating different areas of the body. We dance with silk veils and zills. If you have any questions about this class please contact instructor by email; Cancellation Policy: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel more than 24 hours before your lesson time, you will be refunded the lesson fee or can reschedule for another time. If you cancel within 24 hours of the lesson time, you are responsible for paying the lesson fee.
